Smoky Mountain climate features 4 seasons!


The climate in the Smoky Mountains ranges from an average high of 86 degrees in Summer months to a low temperature of 26 degrees in Winter months.  In addition, the climate at Mt. LeConte ranges from 85 degrees to -32 degrees.  An average of 7 inches of snow will fall annually.  In addition, Mt. LeConte can get up to 2 feet of snow in one day during winter months.  Especially relevant is that there are four seasons in the Smokies.

Visitors especially enjoy the climate here.  Each season offers almost anything you want to do; therefore, a visit to this area is perfect any time of the year.  As a result, many travelers take a journey to our area several times a year.
