Farmers Markets in the Smoky Mountain area offer fresh produce from area farms.  Discover a bounty of harvest along with fun things for the kids to do.  Fresh fruits and vegetables come in all shapes, sizes, and colors at the farmers  markets.  One of the fun markets to visit is located in Wears Valley.  From Pigeon Forge, turn onto Wears Valley Road and drive about 5 miles.  The Pumpkin Patch will be on your left.  From Townsend, turn onto Wears Valley Road and drive about 5 miles.  The market will be on your right.
