It’s Summer Time.  Let’s go River Tubing!  This is a favorite outdoor adventure in the Smoky Mountains.  Floating in a tube down one of the scenic rivers in the Smoky Mountains is a great way to spend a hot, sunny day. Tubing down an alpine river is fun and a great way to spend a day of your vacation. The season runs from early May to mid-October.  Wear a swimsuit and rubber water shoes or old tennis shoes. Flip-flops get lost. Don’t wear expensive jewelry because it gets lost. If you want to wear sunglasses, wear cheap ones in case they get lost.
