Wears Valley

Steeped in History, Wears Valley Still Has the Look of the 18th Century

Wears Valley is one of the most beautiful areas of the Smoky Mountains. Majestic mountains rising above beautiful farmland invite visitors to enjoy the peaceful ambience of the Valley.  Most of all, the valley sits at the edge of an entrance to the magnificent National Park.

In this part of the mountains, you will find beautiful meadows, mountain peaks, lots of mom and pop restaurants, unique craft shops, gift shops, a sky lift, rushing rivers, and fun things to do.

Most of all, you will be close to Pigeon Forge when you stay in Wears Valley and all that it has to offer vacationers.

A perfect place to get away from the daily cares of life is Wears Valley

Many cabins are available for overnight rental — honeymoon cabins, group cabins, and family getaways.  Stay in a cabin where you will be in a serene location yet close to all the fun and activity in nearby Pigeon Forge.

Nearby are hiking trails and mountain streams.  Hiking is probably the most popular outdoor activity in the Smokies.  Mountain streams provide hours of fun with river tubing, kayaking, wading, and especially fishing.

Come enjoy the fall season when it comes alive in Wears Valley. Fall decor is at every turn, especially at the corner of Wears Valley Road and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Here sits a general store, along with a place to buy picnic items — fried chicken and lots more.
